What's She All About?
Ana's story begins at age 2 in the halls of El Group Folklorico Atotonilco in Kansas City, Missouri, where she watched her older sister in class and repeated what she saw until she convinced her teachers to let her in on the fun. Struck with an immediate love for creation, Ana went on to perform in any way possible.
Born with a need to see a story through, Ana quickly found herself in the world of theater 24/7. At age 7, she played Little Cosette in a high school production of Les Miserables, and her world changed. She continued to delve into the universes of plays and musicals throughout her schooling at Miami Arts Charter and New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL.

With parents from Veracruz, Mexico and London, England combined with a childhood in Miami, Florida, Ana was exposed to many art forms and ideologies. Her training reflects the cultural cross-reference that she was immersed in, and she is undeniably influenced by her multi-hyphenate identity and wears it with pride.

Amidst her artistic journey, Ana faced homelessness and life below the poverty line. Through this, Ana's passion for acting and the arts grew into a lifeline. Set on defying her circumstances, Ana applied to various universities for their BFA programs and was both thrilled and honored to receive several full-ride offers.
Since then, Ana has performed in several productions at Boston Conservatory under the school's Presidential Scholarship and Inaugural Sutton Foster Award while also performing regionally and professionally. She is deeply thankful to be where she is today.
Her love of art-making and her commitment to breaking through barriers guides her artistry and identity as she continues to grow.

Outside of her performance pursuits, Ana can be found writing, drinking coffee, at the beach (anywhere she can find one), on a hike, in a library somewhere, or hyperfixated on a new TV show or genre of music.
